Our Story
Luxi started with a simple conversation, about how hard it can be to feel good in your skin when everything is changing.
As women, as mothers, and as humans moving through life, Lucy Chester and Alexis Fronda knew what it meant to lose touch with yourself in the middle of it all. Between chronic illness, motherhood, and aging, they both turned to skincare and home rituals as a way to reconnect, not just to their bodies, but to their confidence. Their friendship became a space to reflect on what was missing, not just in their own lives, but for the women around them. Together, they imagined something better, that they wanted to share with others who needed it. That’s where Luxi began.
Built on a love for comfort, beauty, and thoughtful design, Luxi is about creating pieces that support women as they are, not as they’re told to be. Alexis Fronda is a beauty industry professional and co-founder of Luxi, where her passion for skincare evolved into a deeper love for self-care, daily rituals, and the small luxuries that make everyday life feel more beautiful. As the founder of Real Beauty London, she’s spent years helping women feel more confident in their skin; and with Luxi, she brings that same care into what we wear, how we rest, and how we treat ourselves at home.
After building her skincare brand from the ground up, Alexis recognised a missing layer in the self-care experience, one that wasn’t about products alone, but about the full sensory world we create around us. Luxi was born from that vision: to offer elegant, comfort-led essentials that help women feel beautiful and empowered in the most personal spaces of their lives.
Thoughtful, grounded, and quietly luxurious, Alexis brings both business insight and lived experience to Luxi, along with a belief that comfort and confidence should never be separate.
Lucy Chester is a content creator and co-founder of Luxi, where her decade-long journey with chronic illness reshaped how she saw beauty, home, and healing.
